The 5 Cores of the 'Schneider Blend"
Israeli Self Protection - Krav Maga style
The Israeli Self Protection systems influenced by Krav
Maga covers everything an adult needs to know to stop
attackers in their tracks. It doesn't matter if they are
armed, bigger than you, or more skilled. This is what the
Israeli military teaches its Special Ops teams, turning
ordinary civilians into devastating hand-to-hand combat
fighters. It is all you need to survive just about
anything the world can throw at you. Best of all, you
don't need tremendous strength or ability to get capable.
London PMA self-protection program will show you how to
incapacitate an attacker in one simple move anyone can do.
They will show you how to deal with attackers with guns
and knives. You will learn 27 core attacks, 18
hand-to-hand and 9 defense against weapon threats. We will
show you how to get to a point of reference- that is a
position you feel 100% comfortable within just 2 or 3
steps, regardless of how the attack started. Once you get
there, you will have common techniques that work for you
every time, things you will become proficient at. Every
technique will give you choices of what to do with your
attacker once you have him in the point of reference - to
drop him to the ground and restrain him (particularly
useful to law enforcement), to incapacitate him so he
can't attack anymore, or to terminate him in the most
life-threatening situations.
Thai Boxing
Known as the king of the ring, Thai Boxing is the national
sport of Thailand. Thai
Boxing or Muay Thai includes
kicking and punching as well as devastating elbow and knee
strikes. For this reason, Muay Thai is sometimes called
the science of the eight limbs.
Muay Thai is one of the best sports for physical
conditioning. It is also known for having the strongest
kick in the martial arts. Thai boxing students learn to
move fluently between kicking, punching, knee, elbow and
clinching ranges.
London PMA Kickboxing provides the finest Muay Thai training in
London, Kentucky. Whether your goal is to compete, to gain
some practical self-defense skills, to become an
instructor in the Thai Boxing Association or just to
become fit, London PMA Kickboxing can help you to reach your
goals.
Grappling and Submission Fighting
The Gracie style of Jiu-Jitsu is the "hottest" item in
martial arts today. The Gracie style was created in the
early 1900's by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu pioneers Carlos and
Helio Gracie, who had a standing challenge that was open
to practitioners of all styles, regardless of size, weight
or musculature. This tradition of open challenge has been
continued by the Gracie family and their students for over
70 years.
Submission Grappling has been popularized by events like
the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Pride, Mixed
Martial Arts (MMA) is taking the world by storm. The most
combative of all the fighting sports, MMA is one of the
fastest growing sports in the world. Submission Grappling
combines striking and grappling from the standing position
as well as on the ground.
London PMA Submission Grappling program focuses on the
fundamentals of grappling and submission wrestling for a
mixed martial arts environment. It emphasizes clinching,
pummeling and takedowns as well as submissions, positions,
and escapes on the ground. It also includes striking from
the clinch and on the ground.
Kali
In the Philippines, combat training methods developed to a
level of efficiency unsurpassed anywhere in the world.
There are over 7,000 islands in the Philippine archipelago
with over 78 major languages spoken. The Filipino Martial
Arts are as diverse as the islands themselves.
Kali, Escrima, Arnis and Silat are just a few of the many
names used to describe the Filipino Martial Arts. These
arts encompass an entire spectrum of weaponry and also
feature sophisticated empty hands including boxing,
trapping and grappling. Under constant siege by the
Spanish, the Southern Philippines remained unconquered for
nearly 400 years due to the efficiency of the deadly and
combat-proven martial arts of this region.
Unlike most martial art systems, both weaponry and empty
hands are taught together because the principles are
common to both and are inter-changeable. Armed or unarmed,
the student learns to relate to any situation using the
same concepts of body angling, positioning and flowing.
Depending on speed, footwork and skill rather than brute
strength, this fluid and practical method of self-defense
is one of the most comprehensive martial art systems
known.
Progressive Kenpo - Jitsu
Progressive Kenpo-Jitsu is based on the premises of the
ranges and zones of fighting. Primarily the ranges and
zones of kicking, hand strikes, elbow & knees, joint locks
& controls, throws & takedowns and ground submission
